We
presented the “Focus on Supervision” course to Plascon:
“I learned a lot
about myself, the do’s & don'ts about handling situations,
people, reacting to people and their needs and I learned what kind of
a person I am and how to establish what kind of people I work with.
The course was presented very informative and funny/humourous - the
informal way of presenting leads to better remembering and things
taught then tend to stick with you. Maybe it should be presented to
top management as well. I have already recommended it to a couple of
people.”
“I learned how to
handle a conflict situation correctly and most importantly how to
manage people correctly.”
“I felt the
presentation was excellent especially as "day-to-day"
practical examples were being used which made us understand the
subject discussed more easily.”
“Generally I
managed by crisis. That means that smaller issues are often neglected.
But these small issues might be big issues to someone else. Applying
simple techniques that I have learned will help grow not only myself
but everyone around me.”
“I gained an
in-depth knowledge of how to handle and manage people I work with.
Technical skills of supervision, above all, aspects like persuasion,
participation and comfort in the workplace. Mind opening, stimulating
and I think my horizons are broadened.”
“This course has
made my role as a (future) manager very clear. This is being a manager
of people's lives, rather than the manager of tasks. I would recommend
this and send staff on it to prepare them to take my shoes…”
